Panajachel (Lake Atitlan), Guatemala
View from Hotel Atitlan. The Lake is said to be the deepest lake in Central America. The small villages around Panajachel are full of wonderful people who still live as an old Maya community. Walking among them and spending some time chatting about their community makes you travel back in time and think about the really essential things in life.
